On Thursday, July 14th Spinx held their annual check presentation, were they donated the proceeds from the Annual Spinx Charity Golf Tournament to five SC charities. The ceremony was held at the Chamber of Commerce.
Spinx partners with non-profit organizations in South Carolina who focus on improving children’s education, health, wellness and moral growth. This year’s beneficiaries included Safe Harbor, Ronald McDonald House Carolinas, Harvest Hope Food Bank, American Red Cross of the Upstate, and American Red Cross of the Lowcountry.
Spinx stores collectively raised $164,448 for March of Dimes during the month of March. The money raised helps area moms have healthier pregnancies, assist families with newborns in the Intensive Care Units, as well as help fund research to fight birth defects and premature birth. Spinx is pleased to announce that it raised $334,450 for the March of Dimes, shattering its goal and nearly doubling its record last year of $180,000.
Spinx Run Fest is a marathon, half marathon and 5K race that uses the beautiful city of Greenville as its backdrop. Runners will experience both flat and hilly stretches, cascading waterfalls, and cross the finish line on the home plate of the Greenville Drive at Fluor Field.
